Great idea......this blog. Hey Nicky, whatever happened to the "book" you wrote some time ago? I'm speaking of the self-reflection you had at around forty...?
So, I have 3 children; Joshua 14, Simon 10, and Ilana 4. Yes, it is quite a spread and the challenge to stay connected to each age group gets frustrating. Understanding a boys inner world is like digging for gold, luckily there are books out to help me. As far as my daughter goes, Ilana is more girlie than I ever was. Tea parties, lotions, and changing her clothes six times a day......... There are days when I'm wanting to put motherhood last and sneak up to the front of the line myself. Overall it is an amazing thing this motherhood stuff. My thoughts on life have changed with each birth as well as with each individual child boys/girl. How? Its a combination of simplistic and complicated " isms ".

2009 Blue Ridge Parkway/CT 2nd Wedding Anniversary
- This turns out to be the #1 personal story of 2009, the pictures and the experience. It was a little more than a full week of FUN with my Sunshine. It might have been cloudy on certain days. But she was there to shine the light on the journey.

- It's been a while since my Sunshine and I attended a NASCAR race. Texas Motor Speedway is the first race since July 2007.
Smoky Mountain 1st Wedding Anniversary
- We thought we'd share the beauty of the Smoky Mountains. It was our third trip there. We circled the Mountains, and drove through part of the Blue Ridge Parkway. I will work on the story ... the TONO thoughts later in the week ... in between work!
