Maybe before our next trip: A new performing camera for Sunshine and me!

Good news, picture fans! After going on the Kilimanjaro Safari tour, my Sunshine gave in, and said that we can plan on getting a new camera! Yay! I was having difficulties taking those "sport" moving animal pictures.

I don't have much time to post any stories, even though there are some, however, I have updated more pictures on the right hand tab under 2010 Harry Potter and All DisneyWorld, TONO and Sunshine pictures, and on the left hand side under Traveling TONO Self-Portraits!  Hope you check back often this week for picture updates.

Harry Potter Day and Boatwright’s Dining Hall

Yesterday, it was Harry Potter day at Islands of Adventure!  It was a day of going all around the Harry Potter theme park.  In the beginning I was commenting to my Sunshine that “I don't understand any of the buidings or language.  She said: “That's ok.”

That was the type of day I was having.  It was adventure just going around the theme park without having a knowledge of what the words met or the stuff I was visiting.

At the Boatwright’s Dining Hall did well in taking care of my Sunshine.  They even sang Happy Birthday the Zip-a-dee-doo Da way!  The food was good, too!  I had the  Zambalaya.  It was good because it wasn’t as spicy as it usually is elsewhere.

The evening was topped off with stopping by, paying over $30 on a Mickey Mouse pajama (because I forgot to pack home from home) and sleeping in it!

Making the most of the first day disappointments and onto Harry Potter!

The first day turned out to be tiring for both of us. As usual, we stayed up late getting late night packing completed on Tuesday night. We waited last minute to do anything that we needed to do!  And we turned in a little early, so that we could get up early to head toward Harry Potter’s theme park at Universal Studios.

I was not very happy with our arrival, but as we agreed, we are not going to let The Happiest Place on Earth dictate our magical experience. We arrived at Walt DisneyWorld Resort a little before our arrival time that we told them.  The welcome present for my Sunshine wasn’t in the room before we arrived.  But it did arrived after I made a phone call to the front desk, after I couldn't get the florist who didn't answer the phone when they close at 6pm and I called at 5:53.

And the bell personal didn’t help us with our belongings when we arrived because there would been a forty-five minute wait for them to get to our room.  I didn’t understand that because when we were at the front desk there were about four or five of them not even doing anything,

The evening was topped off at a buffet dinner at Boma in the Animal Kingdom.  My Sunshine had special eating requirements.  The chef came out showed her what foods she could eat on the buffet line.  We tried a few dishes that we didn’t know anything about and didn’t like, but it was worth a try.

Fun-bound! …Onto the Magic Kingdom and Harry Potter!

It’s been a long week at work.  I planned out five days of work into four days!  I accomplished all my goals.  I’m up after a little over four hours of sleep.  It looks like I have a long drive ahead, but it’s with my Sunshine, so that makes it all the more exciting!

The days ahead are all planned out by my Sunshine.  It’s a time to spend time together.  Maybe I’ll get to take a few pictures around and posted them.  This is fulfilling a promise I made to my Sunshine when we were dating in 2007.  We had one day to visit the eastern Magic Kingdom.  She asked: which theme parks are we visiting?  I replied: All of them.  She laughed.  I promised my Sunshine that we would come back to Florida.  And it helps that the Harry Potter theme park opened up this year!  I visited the western Magic Kingdom in California, where I could visit the two parks there, California Adventure and the Magic Kingdom, in two days and make a pretty good dent in the rides at both of those parks!  That's why I said what I said.  I didn't know there were more than two parks!  Can you all cut a guy some slack?  LOL .... So this is the year we are making another visit.

2008 we visited Hawaii and Southern California for the meet-and-greet visit that my Sunshine had with my family and friends.  2009 was the “In Search of Colors” visit to the Blue Ridge Parkway, Connecticut and Washington D.C.  Next year is a visit to Northern California for my nieces’ graduation celebration.  So this year worked out fine. 

Post 400! … Pictures of Sunshine and me on her Special Day Birthday!

It is appropriate to make blog post #400 as The Sunshine post on her Special Year Birthday.  Happy very Special Year Birthday, Sunshine!  I was searching through all the pictures we have taken together, and I have put them in another photo album.  (It's on the very top on the right hand column. of this blog.  And there will be more pictures added as time goes on. ...)  I thought that I would share four of my favorites right here, right now!

Forty-five months that changed my life … Prayer to change it more!

Its forty-five month-meeting anniversary since I met my Sunshine.  I know that throughout all those months, and even after my marriage there is sooo much more I need to do to lead as a husband.  Recently, Sanctus Real has come out with a song called Lead Me.  The following link is my prayer to my wife on an on-going basis, as I focus on being “filled with the [Holy] Spirit.” Ephesians 5:18

Leading a married couple, family, or business is an awesome responsibility.  It is the order that was determined from the beginning of time.  I realize that more than ever now.  I suggest that it should be a prayer of all men in this nation.  Our neighborhoods will be a “better” place to live.  I know that I look at this responsibility in a different light, a much deeper meaning than just a while ago.  It is conviction to not live by my natural tendencies of the flesh, but to walk in the Spirit.

Discoveries going through “stuff”

On this Labor Day, my Sunshine and I are going through stuff we have around the apartment.  I found this particular newsletter printed out in one of the boxes I was going through.  It brought back memories.
